The Moon That Embraces The Sun
Kisah dari cinta rahasia di antara Lee Hwon, seorang
raja fiksi dari Dinasti Joseon, dan Wol, seorang shaman perempuan. Wol
dilahirkan sebagai Heo Yeon Woo, puteri dari sebuah keluarga bangsawan, yang
berhasil memenangkan cinta dari sang Pangeran Mahkota, Hwon. Namun musuh-musuh
Yeon Woo, iri karena posisi keluarga Yeon Woo di Istana, mengadakan persengkongkolan
untuk melawan Yeon Woo, dan merampas tempatnya sebagai puteri mahkota
bahkan hampir saja berhasil mengambil nyawanya. Bertahun-tahun telah
berlalu, si Hwon yang merasa sakit hati karena kehilangan Yeon Woo bertemu
dengan Wol, yang sekarang telah menjadi seorang shaman perempuan, dan sama
sekali tak memiliki ingatan mengenai masa lalunya.
Commentary :
I start watching this, so not yet finish, but i’d
like to say bravo the child actors ,
male and female . Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Yoo Jung, i think for their young
age they show very good acting, especially Jin Goo as the crown prince, at that
age he could already showed a dignity, charisma and authority as a crown prince
yet at the same boyishness when he tried to impress Yoo jung’s character and
giggled etc. so cute and endearing. however i must admit that i laughed when he
cried, really cried, when he was separated from her, because then i imagine a
15 years old boy in today’s world a 15
years old in today’s world. I don’t think he would cry that hard over a girl,
today’s 15 years old boy would still be very much preoccupied with school,
games and his buddies. not yet that deeply involved in romantic setting.
